About us

Here at Varleys of Oswestry our passion for home improvement began back with Mr Joseph Varley who created The Newtown Tile Centre in 2001. In 2007 Joe moved the business to a larger building allowing him to expand the showroom area and in turn expand the business also. Varleys became a one stop shop for kitchens/bathrooms/flooring as well as tiles and so in 2010 Joe renamed the business to Varleys of Newtown to reflect this change.

In 2011 Joe Varley expanded the business by purchasing what was then Tile & Architectural Supplies at Maesbury Road Industrial Estate, Oswestry.

Since the expansion of Varleys we have grown to be one of the leading tile showrooms in Shropshire supplying quality products to customers from a wide range of towns and counties. We have a huge range of stock tiles in our huge warehouse. We also have stunning kitchens and bathrooms on display showcasing a variety of styles and price points to help our customers make the right choice for them.

Tiles

We provide a wide range of tiling products all from leading manufacturers from classic to modern designs and styles. Our ranges are constantly updating in order to reflect changing tastes, trends and budgets. We have a huge warehouse dedicated to stock tiles for customers to go home with on the day.

Kitchens

We at Varley’s believe the kitchen is the heart of the home and so we make sure to cater to all budgets, sizes and tastes from rustic and cosy to modern and contemporary. Our designers have years of experience in creating state of the art 3D designs through our free home design service.

Bathrooms

We offer a free home design service for those wishing to totally transform their bathroom using 3D Cad software. Our bathrooms range from traditional to modern with the highest quality products.

We are constantly updating our flooring in order offer a wide range of flooring options to suit everyone’s style including laminate, vinyl and LVT, which are capable of replicating looks such as tile, wood or stone.
